Lavenda network of schools

The Lavenda network of schools is going really well.  In fact, we believe that this is the way we are going to accomplish our work better; by helping most of the kids in their own communities.

Since January of this year we have assisted in the following:

Completed the making of the school uniforms for 52 students in the Nairobi Soweto slum school. The uniforms were funded by Brighton North Rotary club in Melbourne, Australia.

Built one classroom and an office/staff room for 100 kindergarten and lower primary school children in Maralal.  This was funded by the St Augustine School in London.  This school has been meeting under a tree for the past couple of years, so to have a building to meet in is incredible for them.  Previously, Lavenda has provided food, educational material and shoes for the children and salary for the teacher.
