Charlie, the Operations Manager at Lavenda, made a trip last week to visit some of our students studying in high schools in Samburu District.  He also went to see the ongoing building of the primary school we are assisting in Naipirisie.  In April of this year we went with a group fromLavenda to build the primary school. Previous to this the kids were meeting under a tree.  Due to a donation from St Augustines School in London UK we were able to start the building process.

As you can see from the above photo, they have now had a water tank installed which will give clean drinking water to the children. 

Two toilets have now been built also which will mean the kids will not have to use the bushes all the time.
